What gives me the time? The opportunity to see the beautiful sunrises/sunsets, to schedule myself, to relax and see life blossom. What says the clock? When it’s time for lunch, for sleep, how much more I need to finish work, when it’s the best time to go outside. How I want to do „carpe diem“, to measure the moment? At the end of the day „carpe diem“ is the source of the „little things“, of the reasons when nobody can tell us why but ourselves. What impresses is the ability to take adventure, to catch yourselves when things go wrong.
Travel with creativity
What impresses is how much we can be creative when visiting the places, when taking the pictures, when the same old life knocks the door.
Seeing more places is not enough, you have to carry them with the sunrises, with the best angle, with the same old reasons that keep you alive. Destination knows how to knock on your door, it’s not your task.
Examples of unusual travel
One blog that I’m following Against the compass speaks the truth of the unbeaten path, of the road less travelled. Mostly these the places in the Middle East. Hidden gems are not only less known sights, it’s the way of noticing things, of travelling with the theme.
Croatian adventurist Ana Bakran that hitchiked from Croatia all the way to Bora Bora in French Polynesia has accomplished her mission after 5 years instead of determinated one year. She didn’t have in mind time but her goal, destination, places.
How many times have you said that your next destination will be the more engaging mountaineering, that you will not be lost after only one arrival in the new place, that cycling is the way to discover but undone?
What do you admire?
The way you admire architecture or the beauty of nature is the way to process your creativity. The change about yourself is the reason to be creative, it’s our nature. So it’s with exploring the world. How much it changes us and how much the desire to explore changes under the perspective of what we really want to explore.
So you’re measuring the countries visitied or you’re measuring experiences? Counting anything is not my advantage but the real value lies in the mistery. Mistery that is hidden in unknown countries doesn’t wait the moment, it just waits to be unveiled. Like me that dreamt of fairy-tale landscapes of Tuscany, finally decided to take the moment even it was raining all 5 days. Suprisingly, Tuscany demonstrated me the power of dreaming, when we just want to dream more.
How many times have you found yourself just watching the clouds like a child? Dare yourself to explore, even in your neighbourhood. It’s the soul of relax, the world that flows within you. Be ready for your dreams.

This post is like poetry. I love the way this post emphasises the importance of not chasing dreams to the ticking of a clock, but simply encourages the chase. Discovering new sites, places or depths is exciting and this post encapsulated that!
Amazing!

I love this, I believe its not the destination, its the adventure. I love new adventures, I love going to new places to explore what is unknown to me as I hear from the unfamiliar.

I love this concept. It is a wonderful way to look at how we make plans for our future and even in this current time of uncertainty.

Wow! This is so deep and meaningful. Sometimes we get so caught up in delivering, delivering, delivering things for other people we never stop and try to satisfy our own souls. I love the message of this. It’s something I try to balance so much but it often overwhelms me. Just need to take a step back and given the moments I yearn for more time to develop so they resonate within more. <3

This is really inspirational. I definitely agree with your thoughts. As I said on my travel blog, I do believe in slow travel, as travelling is not about seeing places, it is about feeling emotions.
And, by the way, as a local, I am really glad you loved Tuscany!
